Dr. Malcontent by Tone Rodriguez

If everyone in comics was as nice as Tone Rodriguez... well, I'd never have to worry about finding a toilet. Tone is the only artist who's ever let me use the bathroom in his hotel. Of course, I've never asked other artists, so who knows? Maybe everyone in comics is as nice as Tone and I just haven't found out because I haven't asked to use their bathrooms.

But I'm getting off topic.

Tone drew this for me at Wizard World Dallas in 2006. I've kept it underwraps for years because I didn't want to risk spoiling the end of SECRET IDENTITY CRISIS. Then when the book came out and I wanted to post this, I couldn't find the file. Finally, today, I just accidentally came across it while looking for something else, so at long last, here you go!
Hey, did you know Tone was also on an episode of "Dexter"? He drew the artwork used in the "Dark Defender" episode so the producers gave him a cameo as the murderer who caved in a comic book store owner's head. The store owner, by the way, was played by Tone's friend, writer Dan Wickline.
